July 17, 2012: Enoby emerges from the blood-soaked shadows of Hogwarts' forbidden corners to officially join in our poking of a certain elephantine preppy man.

October 5, 2011: Spring cleaning.

July 17, 2011: After weeks of inactivity and a pretty epic smackdown, Ryuu takes his forum offline. Oh shucks.

4.2.12

What is this? No seriously

This is the ever elusive, nigh mythical, perpetually afk Dr. (_____), breaking his vow of silence to say one or two things in response to the recent drama.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I notice that Ryuu has basically sicked you all on this blog, having you do all the work while he stays behind, claiming that he is exhausted from it all. I call bullshit. That's right, BULLSHIT. Not just cuss he's sitting back and letting you, his fans, fight his battles for him, no not that. Neither is it because he seems to be reviving this fued when, from my long absent point of view, I thought it had fizzled to a quiet ember of bad blood ages ago. No not that either. Its that for all the time and effort put into this blog, he has but an equally large amount of time and effort being worked up over it. Him and his girlfriend, to the point that the words "shell shocked" have been used.

We are not an Anonymous raid, calling with death threats, ruining his financial life by hacking his credit card, or nuking his computer with viruses, no we are merely opinionated, and in the case of a couple of my fellow bloggers, outraged at his high and mighty attitude and bigotry towards gay people. We have not even done a massive raid on his page, beyond maybe talking to him there. Its been so long since I talked to him that I've outright forgotten how much or little we openly talked on his page (Hell, the She Elf is outright not with us anymore). I don't recall it being a whole lot. And yet here we are at least... oh god, what, a year? a year and a half since this blogs foundation and he has not done the mature sensible thing and written it off, but is actively recruiting people to send forth to "deal with us"

THINK ABOUT THAT. As for why I joined; said what I said... that's another post.

EDIT: Looking at out post history, I count... what only four posts in January, and before that one back in august? Yes, we truly do put so much effort into hating him. I'm honestly only making a statement because I find this whole resurgence of drama baffling)

  1. That post in August makes up the entirety of 2011's posts, too.

Pretty silly! We are quite lazy in our hate-fueled crusade to make Ryuu's life a living hell by daring to have opinions about him on some random website. I'd almost think our critics are putting forth more effort to speak against us (on our own page, at that).

    1. You opinions are very Westboroish Baptistish Churchish. Maybe a small box of Oreos may calm your soul, my sweet restless friend.

      Delete
    2. Really?

The Westboro Baptist Church hates an entire group of people on the basis of the belief that their god says so, based further on their belief that their holy book says so. They think it's good when military personnel are killed, they applaud when attacks or natural disasters happen in the US (the more people that are injured or killed, the better), and they believe that all of these people are burning in a lake of fire right now, until the end of eternity. They routinely picket funerals, comic conventions, pride parades, and pretty much anywhere else they think they can get attention.

Meanwhile, we have a blog that we don't advertise (outside of letting Google index it), stating our disagreements with things that Ryuu says (usually involving his bigotry against LBGT people, but not always), and criticizing his artwork, and considering all three of us are atheists there's no need for us to check with any god to see if he likes what we're doing.

      That's quite an exaggerated comparison.

      Delete
    3. I said "ish," three times. Catch my drift?

Anyhow, my statement wasn't nearly as exaggerated as you're making Ryo's actions seem.

      Delete
    4. Oh sure, we're only slightly like the most extreme and inflammatory comparison you could think to make. It's only coincidental that you happened to go there.

Nope, we're right on the money and you're so far out in left field that the only way you could've made such a statement is either out of incredible ignorance or deliberate dishonesty. That's the only possible way one could find something completely opposite of us and then say that we're very alike.

I'm going to go with the latter, since judging by your other comments here, dishonesty is something you're known to flirt with, what with your threats of abusing the report system with outright lies.

Then again, I get the feeling you didn't really mean it and was just trolling us with the tired old "You're just as fundie as the fundies!" cliche. That's ultimately what everybody resorts to when they run out of meritable things to say and just want to get a jab in.

  2. I only posted here because I wanted to. No big deal. I have seen the blog before, but posted after he posted his thingy.

    1. In other words, you posted because he cried about it.

      Yeah, exactly.

    2. No, he merely brought it to our attention. Why would someone post something if they didn't want to? Precisely.

      Delete
    3. In other words... you posted because he cried about it.

      Delete
    4. Nay, I posted it because the Northerly wind called. What the fuck did you want me to say? You clearly aren't listening to anyone.

      Delete
    5. You could try not making excuses for yourself.

Ultimately, I really don't care why you say you felt the need to post here, because it's pretty clear what went down; in the three years we've been up, we get no comments or feedback, then Ryuu [EDIT: or someone else, see below] posts some shit (basically a copypasta of a year-and-a-half old journal from the previous time he tried to sic his personal army on us) and suddenly we get comments seemingly out of nowhere.

That's sort of the point. Ryuu didn't learn his lesson from the last time he tried this, instead he thinks all he has to do to shut us up is get a few MORE of his friends to come over and threaten us into silence.

It just shows all his supposed acts of good will toward us were empty and insincere. He doesn't actually care about being a better person, he just wants all dissenters to shut up so that he can go on pretending that he's sooo amazing.

      Kinda proving our point, yanno?

[EDIT: LOL nevermind, I get the feeling we're all getting trolled and Ryuu didn't even post that. Probably whoever did it was also whoever it was that hacked his account and put the pregnant Zelda stuff all over it.

tl;dr Y'all got manipulated and came to "help out" a guy who probably doesn't even know that you're doing it.]

      Delete
    6. Like hell! We all know you hacked his account after he came to RaymanPC for help! It was the only way to save your sorry arses!

      Delete
    7. He didn't come to RPC for help. The post is a copypaste of his old journal. All his replies, up until the Pregnant Zelda stuff, were copypasted from that journal's replies.

Y'all got trolled, probably by someone from RPC.

      Delete
    8. How would YOU feel if you were the one targeted by a blog such as this, hacked by others, hated by others from various sites?

      Delete
    9. I wouldn't give a crap about some random people on some random website posting their opinions in a place where I'd have to go out and search for it to see it.

Also LOL "hate", people keep saying that word and I don't think it means what they think it means. Maybe if he didn't act like such a wiener all the time, people wouldn't feel the need to have negative opinions about him.

Y'all act like he's some innocent victim of some sort of internet hate machine, but really, he brings it on himself.

      Delete
    10. Well yes, he has his flaws. He's as stubborn as a damn mule, and he's tough as frickin' nails...

Oh hell he's too damned prideful for criminy's sake...

Yes, he's really hated, I mean look at half of RaymanPC, and the recent hack attempt by someone there OR here.

While I have to admit, he brought it on himself... I just have a simple question.

Do you enjoy doing all this? Does it give you some pleasure to criticize against someone of his unique personality? Do you smile every time you hurt his feelings any?

I have some suspicions on where you guys might have come from, but I may be wrong. Considering the fact some people began to hate him since Zelda Epic Journey's began to as far back as RaymanZone of 2003.

      Delete
    11. I don't really give a shit about what goes on there, to be honest. Whatever beef they have with Ryuu has nothing to do with us, but I doubt he's hated so much as people are having fun getting a rise out of him. People seem to love taking even the slightest negative attitude and calling it hate.

Um yeah, I do enjoy doing "all this"; I'd have left the blog to fallow if I didn't. It's not like we're tied to some obligation to keep the blog up, it's all idle free time. And yes I like criticizing art, especially when people seem to think that their art is OH SO incredible despite how bland and mediocre it is, and I like standing up against blatant bigots.

Hahaha, he hardly has a "unique personality". He's just about like any other whiny teenager with his head up his ass and a victim complex and slobbering like a fucking dog all over his girlfriend all the time like he's got something to prove, and too lazy to put any effort in his ugly mary-sue fanwork, except he's in his twenties, which you'd think would mean he'd have grown out of it by now, but I guess that's what happens when you're coddled and your ass is licked by sycophants all the time. He, quite simply, wallows in his own delusions of grandeur and oh how it PAINS him that people point out that he's not so great. Oh yes, we're such villains. BRB gonna kick this puppy here and tie a woman to some railroad tracks.

I honestly don't feel the need to treat with kid gloves the precious feelings of someone who thinks I and my friends are subhuman and inherently disgusting, nope, sorry. I wonder why people insist on elevating his fee-fees over the fact that he gladly and openly insists on dehumanizing whole groups of people.

Your suspicions are probably wrong. We're a few douchebags who saw his dumbshittery on DeviantArt, and then saw his dumb forum, and so decided to make a blog where we could pick apart his art and say what we felt about his arrogance and overt bigotry without being silenced by a bunch of white knights. It'd be wise to not make assumptions about us again in the future.

      Delete
    12. Then I will no longer make the assumptions like I've had in the past.

On another note, what really set you off first? The fact his art isn't god almighty or the fact he's had a history of discrimination against gays and anyone who disagrees with his god almighty prideful ways?

Or the fact that Ryo, who is a Christian, as a god like character? <- This one, I admit, doesn't seem right to me, personally. Considering the religion he claims to be.

      Delete
    13. Correction to a typo. It should be "has" instead of "as".

      "Has a god like character"

      My sincere apologize.

      Delete
    14. HAHAHAHA, that's a good point, that last bit! I hadn't considered that. Pretty funny! But no, I don't care too much about religious people playing with stuff like that. I actually get a little annoyed when people act like playing with fictional stuff is such blasphemy (a particularly scathing review of Wind Waker's oh so heretical paganism comes to mind, by some person I don't remember the name of anymore). Sounds like thought police stuff, you know? It's a little annoying when he tries to shove his religion into Hyrule's setting, though. Might make a post about that later.

It was a combination of shit. It wasn't one single thing. We just eventually got fed up with the bullshit and couldn't keep quiet anymore.

Also LOL I don't expect his art to be "god almighty". None of us are master artists either. It's just that he thinks it's oh so incredible and his followers think it's oh so incredible and if you actually take the time to tell him that things need fixed, no matter how nicely you couch your words, he just flaps his hands and makes excuses and cries about how it's because he never went to art school.

Which kind of pisses me off, considering I'd never been to art school either, but I still worked my ass off to get to where I am because I actually take my craft seriously, instead of just ripping off hard-working artists who actually have some creativity and then wanking off on a page and crowing about how amazing it is. He shits all over every artist who had to work their fingers to the bone to develop their skills when he does that. Not to mention it's just plain ridiculous.

And it ain't just a history, he still thinks LGBT people are disgusting. You can smell it all over when he talks about the subject. He's just learned that he can't expect to talk about his bigotry openly without rebuke anymore.

      Delete
    15. Well, I do admit... Dr. (_______) and you both make very solid points over the artist skill.

One CAN improve with out going to college, the tools are out there. You just have to have the will power to go find them and use them.

I am a friend of Ryo's, and I've seen his flaws countless of times as I do my own. I never really said that much because I don't have the heart to do so.

As much as I hate to admit it... everyone I know, including you guys are right on his stubbornness. I just tend to over-look it.

However name-calling, such as some of your Anonymous users have done isn't necessary in my opinion. Critics are well with in acceptable in my books. Not so much for name calling.

I know how Ryo is, and sometimes he annoys the HELL out of me, sometimes I tip-toe around the guy, but I will always consider him as a friend. Regardless of how he takes criticizing from people.

However any of the RaymanPC members reading this, who ever hacked Ryo's account needs to leave it the hell alone. >>

    16. Nothing wrong with sticking by a friend, certainly.

  4. Read the rules:

"Blogger strongly believes in freedom of speech. We believe that having a variety of perspectives is an important part of what makes blogs such an exciting and diverse medium. With that said, there are certain types of content that are not allowed on Blogger. While Blogger values and safeguards political and social commentary, material that promotes hatred toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age."

    Lel.

Perhaps I'm not even fighting for him. Perhaps I'm fighting for the sake of the rules, or maybe I'm a hired goon. Whichever it is, this blog will be dust shortly.

    1. Oh please, PLEASE do show where we're promoting hatred toward a group based on race, religion, disability, gender, or age.

      PLEASE do.

This is really hilarious, considering all the apologetics people have been putting forward with regards to Ryuu's disgusting opinions about gay people. How ironic that you're trying to shut us up by invoking a rule about one of the things we criticize Ryuu for, and his white knights support.

Let me guess, it's the ol' "If you stand up against my bigoted beliefs, then that makes you anti-[insert religious sect here]!" trope?

      Delete
    2. This sort of covers the area of "hatred" in my opinion. You would have to be blind to think you're doing nothing wrong right now.

What exactly are you doing right now? Please tell me, because I haven't a clue.

      Delete
    3. What does? Hatred where? Which group? Via what group characteristic (e.g. race, religion, age, disability, gender)?

You have to be more specific, I can't read your mind from here.

      Delete
    4. So which group are we hating, again?

      Delete
  5. Dear Unknown. Your argument that we are in violation of the rules on the grounds of "hatred" in general is invalid as the terms of service do not cover "hatred in general" they cover race, gender, religion, disability, or age. (Be warneod, what follows is a long dissection of the "legality" of our blog based upon the previous criteria. As with all legalese or talk of such, it is wordy as fuck.)

point 1) We may or may not even KNOW ryuus race/ethnicity, nor have we ever criticized him for it [No violation]

point 2) We have never criticized him for being a dude, nor have we criticized Lady Zelda for being a girl. note that any criticisms about chauvinism, if made, are not in violation as chauvinism is NOT an intrinsic part of being a male. [No violation]

point 3) We have not singled him out because "he's Christian." That would be stupid on several levels. Any attacks against his anti LGBT attitudes are directed towards THAT. That this inevitably leads to a debate about whether or not his religion can justify hate and/or contempt for LGBT people is not in violation, as we are criticizing the man first and foremost, and theological debates are merely an outgrowth of this, and not the primary purpose of this blog. We do not promote general anti christian sentiment, and the right to protection from hate speech does not protect one from having one from uncomfortable subjects, or having aspects of ones philosophy/religion criticized/debated upon. [No violation]

    4. Ryuu is not disabled and so this does not apply.

    5. Ryuu is, too my knowledge, gainfully employed and also presumably legal voting age, and old enough to be in a long term romance with someone he describes as the love of his life. He is old enough that any arguments on him being young are invalid, and would not apply anyways as beyond perhaps characterizing some of his behavior as "teenage" or "immature" is not in of itself hateful on the grounds that if it were massive swaths of the population, online and off, would be guilty of being "hateful" on these grounds. [No violation]

To conclude. Don't try and do a broad interpretation of the rules. We have followed the letter AND spirit in which they were written. We are NOT making any statements about the groups ryuu could be construed as belonging to, nor have we singled him out due to his membership in such groups. To say we are in violation on the grounds of "general hate" would not only condemn us, but also many other blogs (say a blog dedicated to the picking apart of Micheal bays films in a caustic manner.)

TL:DR? 1.) I have lost all respect for you.
2.) I just stated clearly how the rules are NOT being violated.
3.) Dr. (____) is a verbose dude, what knows how to interpret the letter and spirit of an agreement in exhaustive detail.

    1. Excellent tear-down, bravo.

tl;dr, Ryuu's friends, knowing that we aren't actually breaking any rules, think it's totally appropriate to deal with criticism by threatening it into silence with lies and abuse of the report system.

And yet WE are the immoral ones!

      Delete
    2. You may not be directly violating the rules, but nonetheless, this blog is hurting an individual.

Why are you doing this? What is your motivation? Do you have nothing better to do? Freedom of speech may be a virtue, but you sure aren't gaining a lot of respect for how you go about abusing it just to piss people off.

    4. If you guys don't mind me asking, but who is TL:DR that Dr. (-------) lost respect for?

      Delete
    5. TL;DR means "too long; didn't read", basically it means "this is the shorter summary of the above post".

In other words, it's "Unknown" he lost respect for.

      Delete
    6. Thank You kindly for clearing that up for me, it was a term I never heard of before.

      Delete
    7. Actually. No. I worded that vaguely. my TL;DR was a preemptive response to people who may or may not have turned around and said "Too Long; Didn't read" and "when I said I lost respect for you" I was refering to anyone who couldn't be bothered to read what they are replying to.

  6. Dear Unknown

This must be my last post for the night as I do have better things to do then participate in a flame war tonight, and thus have a lamentable lack of free time to idle away on internet drama.

If you are interested in my reasons, and my opinion of how hurtful all this is, you may read my new post and re-read this post. If you have any commentary to offer I shall respond some other time.

In the meantime I've dinner to cook for guests. Stuffed baked potatoes. It's going to be much more palatable then internet drama, and vastly more delicious, so Im off to get on it, Ta-Ta!

PS: I notice you took a 180 on the rules thing after I picked the whole thing apart.
